If you live in or around Cambridge, you may have mentioned (especially as a local business owner) about the Cambridge Roar?
This event ran last year to raise money for charity and it’s back this year at Quy Mill Hotel & Spa just off the A14 near Cambridge and it’s set to return this year with 18 individual events over 23 days – there’s a lot to choose from for everyone!
What really grabbed my attention was their afternoon tea event, being hosted on Friday 3rd July 2015 from 1pm to 5pm.
Titled “Afternoon Tea’se”… this is an afternoon tea event with a difference.
Not only will you get to enjoy a beautiful afternoon tea & cocktails to match, all provided by the new chef at Quy Mill, there will be butlers to serve your food..
After speaking with Tony Murdock who is heading up these events, he also told me that there will be a chance to shop with local boutique offerings on sale on the day, take part in an charity auction/raffle AND enjoy live music from a Micheal Buble impersonator – it’s certainly different, but most importantly, it is helping to raise money for a local charity; Arthur Rank Hospice.
