I dont know about you, but I am one of those picky people when it comes to booking a hotel or bed and breakfast. I want luxury, a great bed, good food and the little extras that make it worth my well-deserved treat for a short while – I want to know that my money is being spent wisely on a break.

The research is the most stressful part of a break away for me, I trawl blogs, magazines, websites, Google searches and even turn to social media for advise and recommendations. It’s a good thing to do some detective work before you head to a holiday destination, but I’m not convinced you always get the real truth when reading about places to stay.
