Practice Scones for first tea party : )

So today i tried to bake a few items in practice for the first Secluded Tea Party….

Hairy Bikers new cook book suggests a great recipe from the WI, using Natural Yoghurt instead of lots of butter, so i gave it a go…. A little denser than my last batch of Mary Berry creations, but delicious all the same : ) …. Have a virtual taste by nosing at the photos below:

Will be sharing these treats so that we don’t eat them all here haha!

I do love a good scone and yours look like good ones. I made some cheese scones recently using yogurt and they were delicious with a lighter texture than my normal scones!

MM that sounds delicious. Yes they were very light, and they can have cheese added to the recipe to make them savoury. x

Looks like things are coming along. I always notice that my firewall blocks a popup you have. Some people will not come back to your site as they are afraid of a virus.
